So you've read all about teaching in Taiwan and China, but what does teaching involve?

In this section we have put together what we think are the most important factors of what you will actually be doing. Although you may do a lot of reading on the subject, nothing can truly prepare you for when you walk into the classroom for the first time.

In many ways an EFL teacher has to be able to act. He or she needs to have the confidence to command the classroom and the ability to captivate his or her audience. Teaching styles vary tremendously and at Kid Castle we do not advocate one over another, but the basics remain the same. Make your students interested then communicate clearly.

Without a doubt your students are the most important part of the job. Pretty much everything revolves around them, especially what you teach [curriculum].
